ALDERLEY EDGE: A quantity of gardening tools were stolen from a shed belonging to a church in the Church Lane area of Alderley Edge
DEAN ROW / COLSHAW: A BMW was stolen from the driveway of a house in the Hazelwood Road area of Wilmslow after thieves entered the property and stole keys from a kitchen worktop.
A Golf GTI was stolen from the driveway of a house in the Courtney Green area of Wilmslow on 26.7.2010. Thieves had entered the house by jemmying the rear kitchen window and located the car keys in this area.
A front bumper, grille and number plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on a communal car park in the Brackenwood Mews area of Wilmslow on 6.7.2010
A quantity of CDs were stolen from an insecure vehicle parked on a driveway in the Birchwood Drive area of Wilmslow on 11.7.2010
HANDFORTH: Offenders entered a garage and searched through items at a temporarily unoccupied house in the Valley Drive area of Handforth on 12.7.2010
A large quantity of tools were stolen from a vehicle parked on a supermarket car park in the Kiln Croft Lane area of Handforth
LACEY GREEN: A computer tower and a mountain bike were stolen from the garage of a house in the Park Crescent area of Wilmslow
STYAL AND SURROUNDING AREA: Offenders forced the lock on the porch at a house in the Oak Lane area of Wilmslow on 10.7.2010. They removed the post from within and made their escape.
On 28.7.2010 during the early morning period, thieves entered a house in the Racecourse Road area of Wilmslow, by throwing a rock from the garden rockery through a double glazed kitchen window. Using a cane and a piece of wood taped together they then reached in and stole car keys from a worktop. An Audi S3 was then stolen from the driveway and was found abandoned a short time later in the Bramhall area.
A handbag was stolen from under the front seat of a vehicle parked in the Altrincham Road area of Wilmslow on 18.7.2010.
Items were taken from the glove box and door pockets of a vehicle parked in the Styal area of Wilmslow
WILMSLOW TOWN CENTRE AND SURROUNDING AREA: On 3.7.2010 a burglary was reported in the Church Road area of Wilmslow. Offenders had tried to gain entry to the house from the rear but were unsuccessful and caused damage to a window and french doors. They then found a broom stick at the rear of the property and used it by placing it through the letter box and opening the yale lock to the porch. Once inside they then smashed an internal window in the porch but this set off the house alarm and the offenders made their escape.
During the early morning period offenders gained entry to a residential house via an insecure door in the Bollin Hill area of Wilmslow. They stole a wallet, two mobile phones, and the keys to two vehicles parked on the driveway. The offenders tried to gain entry to a BMW but were unsuccessful which resulted in them stealing a Movano van which was parked next to the BMW.

A Sat Nav was stolen from a convertible Alfa Romeo parked on a driveway in the Styal Road area of Wilmslow
A handbag was stolen from a vehicle parked in the Racecourse Road area of Wilmslow on 24.7.2010
Wing mirrors were stolen from two seperate vehicles parked in the Holly Road North area of Wilmslow on 23.7.2010
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
On the evening of 11th August 2010 our Force helicopter was tasked in the Winsford area, when a member of the public shone a laser light at an aircraft. As a result of quick action from the helicopter officers a property was identified in the Winsford area and a male was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment of an aircraft.
This year there have been 21 incidents in Cheshire of laser lights being shone at an aircraft.
Due to the geographical postion of Wilmslow/ Handforth/ Styal it might be that you see this sort of incident happening on the perimeter or surrounding areas of the airport.
