Police appeal for witnesses after suspicious fire at an Alderley Edge bar and restaurant |

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious fire at a premises in Alderley Edge. At 10.30pm on Tuesday 12 March 2013 emergency services attended a fire in London Road, Alderley Edge. The building which was engulfed by the fire is a bar and restaurant but was closed when the fire broke out. No one was evacuated and no one was injured. |
Shortly before the fire broke out two people were seen to arrive in a dark coloured vehicle. They got out and were seen walking towards the building, then leaving in the car.
DI Robert Hassall said: "We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw a dark coloured BMW or Audi shortly before 10.30pm."
Anyone with information concerning the incident should contact DI Robert Hassall on 101 quoting incident number 925 of 12 March 2013.
